The author's definition of legal clinical ed-ucation is proposed. The purpose and tasks of legal clinical education are formulated. Em-phasis is placed on the importance of legal clinical education to ensure the professional training of future lawyers. It was found that legal clinical education is a method of training future lawyers, which is based on practical classes, where students get experience working with real clients and cases under the supervision of experienced teachers and practicing lawyers. As part of legal clinical education, students learn to solve practical legal problems, research legal issues and carry out advisory and judicial practice. This allows students to gain practical experience that can be used in future professional activities, as well as to help people in need of legal assistance. It is emphasized that legal clinical education is an important element of training stu-dents in a legal specialty, as it gives them the opportunity to gain practical experience in real legal cases, as well as to feel responsible for solving specific legal problems. With this in mind, the goal of legal clinical education is the development of students' practical abilities and skills, as well as an understanding of how legal norms are applied in practice. In ac-cordance with the specified goal, the task of legal clinical education is formulated. In general, students who participate in legal clinics work on real cases, research legal problems and resolve conflicts under the guidance of experienced lawyers. In addition, le-gal clinical education provides students with the opportunity to gain experience working with clients, presenting legal arguments, and analyzing legal information. This contributes to students' critical thinking and development of communication skills, which are necessary for a successful career in the field of law.
