SOLVING SPECIFIC LEGAL PROBLEMS USING LEADING METHODS OF FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGICAL EXPERT RESEARCH

Within the framework of this article, an analysis of the scientific views of scientists in publications regarding the methods of psychological research has been carried out. In the studies of scientists, the leading methods of forensic psychological expert research have not been considered in a generalized form to date. The data obtained and their own practical experience of forensic expert activity in this article served as the basis for identifying the leading methods of forensic psychological expert research by subject types.The results obtained are aimed at improving the quality of expert research, at improving the conduct of subject types of forensic psychological examinations, taking into account the experience of expert psychologists of scientific and research institutions of forensic examinations of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The results will allow expert psychologists to correctly navigate when solving complex psychological problems that arise in practice when conducting forensic psychological examinations.The author emphasizes that the identified methods should serve to solve the tasks that are set before the expert psychologist by the body that appointed the forensic psychological examination. For forensic psychological expert research, a separate list of leading methods is published for the first time. In the specified form, the leading methods of forensic psychological expert research convey both classical and modern scientific achievements and are verified by practical forensic expert activity. The implementation of the above methods takes place in the conditions of a specific expert study. The author emphasizes that the reliability of a forensic psychological expert method is determined by its consistency and stability of obtaining research results regardless of who applies the method and under what conditions. The specified generalized list of leading methods can reliably serve in the process of performing various subject types of forensic psychological expert research.
